After a couple of years of marriage, you should be able to tell what the usual routine of your husband is.  You two have gotten to know each other well and you know just how he likes to act.  If you suddenly notice changes in this routine, however, you may have something to watch out for.  What are these things, however? Is your husband secretive or resentful of any questions you might ask him? Does he suddenly lash out if you question where he has been or ask to explain for unaccounted time? Does he start telling you he has been out with his mates more often than before? Then he might be cheating!
What are his excuses?  Is he working longer hours than normal?  Has he been signing more checks than he usually does?  Do you never see the credit card bill anymore?  What is he hiding from you?  You may want to figure this out.

Has his attitude toward you suddenly changed?  Does he not pay as much attention as before, or is he suddenly giving you more attention during sex?  Is he spontaneously surprising you with flowers much more often than he ever did before?  He could be feeling guilty and trying to make himself feel better.

If you really are suspicious about him, begin to write down the things he is telling you.  Ask him again about what he's been doing a few days later.  Is his story still the same or did he forget what he told you and tell you something else?  This might be an indication.  While just one or two of these things may not mean anything, the culmination of them is something you need to watch out for.
